This video is a Taiwan TV talking show broadcasting on Oct 24th,2006 which inviting some famous medical reporters. The reporters disclose lots of scandal and illegal behavior about Taiwan DOCTORS who lack of conscience.
In this video,the first one reporter(male) said,"one hospital in South Taiwan,having Sympathectomy Surgery 1600 times in only 2 years,and the doctor in that hospital even felt proud of it,and writing a paper in the international medical journal." The reporter said,"The foreign doctors felt incredible and confused that why is there such a doctor would do this!"
The second one female reporter said,"I feel regretful for that I wasn't stop one of my good friend having this operation.Because the side-effect of the operation is much huge than we can image.My friend's hands become too dry to make her feel hurt and there is much more sweat on her back,breast and leg.My friend feel it worse than not having this operation.(Sympathectomy,to cut off the sympathetic nerve)
The third one(female reporter) said:"yeh! Some patients will sweat even their pants,they have to bring lots of clothes when they're outside
The male reporter said,"That's right! After having this operation,the patients often sweat like-It's raining".

Since 1990's,in Taiwan,many doctors blurb Sympathectomy on newspaper(medical op-ed),the papers said:"hand-sweating and body odor patients' saver! 95% strike-rate,very small incision on patient's skin,just 5 minutes needed,needn't to be stayed in hospital overnight,and few side-effect!".Moreover,it's really hard to find a report about the real side-effects of the ETS.
Many doctors in Taiwan do this kind of operation.And a few famous doctors even have had cut over 10 thousands persons' sympathetic nerve by only himself,the Taiwan government will pay over 90% operation fee (about $600 USD ) while the surgery taking.(paying by Taiwan national health insurance).
There are over 200 thousands of people in Taiwan had been having Sympathectomy Surgery for hand-sweating and body odor,Taiwan DOCTORS said:"Taiwan is the number one for curing patients with Sympathectomy".
This is the truth and tragedy of Sympathectomy Surgery in Taiwan.
