近來研究顯示,以影響力(i)與引文數(C)的二維地圖,能以圖像表徵研究效能。
Recent research has shown that simple graphical representations of research performance can be obtained using two-dimensional maps based on impact (i) and citations (C).
影響與引文相乘,得到學術能量(E)。
The product of impact and citations leads to an energy term (E).
以學術能量作為第三向量的座標,可以得到一三維空間的地圖。
Indeed, using E as the third coordinate, three-dimensional landscape maps can be prepared.
本文中,除了以傳統的影響指數與引文數以外,採用了論文影響力(Article Influenece)與 Eigenfactor。

Article Influence and
Eigenfactor are used as substitutes.
論文影響力(Article Influenece)是品質量測的指標,Eigenfactor 是數量的指標。而兩者的乘積類似於學術能量。
Article Influence becomes a measure of quality (i.e. a proxy for impact factor) and Eigenfactor is a proxy for size/quantity (like citations) and taken together, the product is an energy-like term.
用來評估期刊的影響與威望。
This can be used to measure the influence/prestige of a journal.
